Mind Body Soul

Greetings on this mystical monday morning!

I say that because it's been one of those weekends, littered with signs and synchronicities. It started on friday when I had a dream that actually came true. Then on Saturday, an idea popped into my head from no-where and has literally sprouted wings. I'm not going to mention too much about it just yet, but what I will say is that it's looking like I might be appearing at a new Mind, Body, Soul event in the next couple of months. It's all very exciting, and it feels like I'm following a natural cycle with this. I should explain that many moons ago, when I was a very young magic ally, I spent a great deal of my time at Mind Body Soul events, running workshops and doing tarot readings. It's been a while, but I feel it's now the right time for me to return to this, and bring something new to the event. I'll keep you posted on developments on this Blog, as I think this event is going to be very special, with a great line up of people giving talks/sessions and readings. For me personally, it will give me the chance to catch up with old friends, and also make some new ones. To chew the fat with like-minded people, and maybe treat myself to some interesting buys (books, jewellry, crystals... you know the sort of thing!).

On another note, I've been reading quite a bit about Cosmic Ordering of late. It's a fascinating subject, and it's very comforting to think that the universe is there to support us, and is waiting for our requests, particularly in this current climate. I think the most important thing to note about Cosmic Ordering is that we might not think it is working for us, when actually it is! It's just working in a different way to the one we expected. The key here is to remove our expectations, and keep an open mind. Be positive, have faith, and stay flexible. Life often delivers answers in unusual and exciting ways.

Have a great and magical monday!

Well we're half way through another week already, and I'm dashing around. I feel like I've got wings at the moment, flitting here, there and everywhere. Talking of wings I've been reading quite a bit about Angels. I find it a fascinating subject. Angels exist in so many different guises and we only have to learn to trust our instincts and listen to that calm inner voice to be able to communicate with them. I believe in guardian angels, and it seems I'm not the only one. Nearly everyone I talk to at the moment has had some sort of otherworldly, or spiritual experience that has left them convinced that they have been touched by an angel's wings. It's all very inspiring.

Personally I reccommend investing in a copy of 'Angels in My Hair' by Lorna Byrne, it's full of angel stories, and it's written in an easygoing accessible style. Even if you don't believe in these spiritual beings this book will leave you feeling energised and uplifted.

Magical Blessings for the rest of the week.

Yes, I'm still here, just! I've been battling for months with writing deadlines and workshops and I'm so sorry not to have posted before now. But I'm going to make a conscious effort to keep this blog up to date with all my witterings. Once a week I'll log in and let you know what's been happening in the world of Magic Ally. I'll also give you a host of magical hints and tips to bring a bit of sunshine into your life. One things for sure, we certainly need it! The weather as I type this is gloomy and cold, and the wind brings an added bite to the air. Having said that, there's something refreshing about this blustery weather. Yes it's chilly, but it's also great for blowing away the cobwebs. So instead of turning up the heating and heading for the duvet, have a go at this five minute wind meditation. Stand with your arms out stretched, and your head up, facing the wind. Imagine it cleaning your aura, blowing away all the dark shadows, and clearing the space in your head for new ideas. Open your mouth and breathe deeply. Say 'I am empowered, invigorated and ready for anything!'

On the subject of being ready for anything, I am about to start work on a book about storytelling for babies. I'm really excited about this. Stories work on so many levels. They trigger powerful images and help us make sense of the world. They're a great way for little ones to explore language, bond with their parents, and learn important life lessons. There are so many ways to make reading exciting, and that's what I intend to do with this book. It can be scary starting a new endeavour like this. As a writer I worry about keeping the momentum up, and often when you start projects they can feel like insurmountable mountains. But I trust the muse, I believe in what I'm writing about, and it's that passion that always carries me through! So onwards and upwards. Until next week....

Bright and magical blessings!
